My VERY CLEVER Girl

Yesterday i was on Skype with my daughter who lives back home in Australia. She has a Labradoodle too!

Anyway i said to her what is that noise in the background? Roxy was very intently watching the computer tilting her head trying to figure out where the noise was coming from!

I said to my daughter what is that Rocco is playing with so she took the toy off him and held it up to the camera so i could see! Her dog Rocco was squeaking his toy, it was one of those funny looking balls which have legs!

Well next thing Roxy bolted downstairs and was making her let me outside noise! I said to my daughter hold on i have to let Roxy outside!

I went down and let her out she immediately bolted to the back garden! Now in all honesty she has about 20 toys in the back yard all sorts of balls and things!
As i said she bolted up the back grabbed something and came running back in the house!

I was absolutely shocked when i realized she had grabbed her toy which is exactly the same as the one my daughter has for her dog in Australia, same color same squeak, she raced up to the computer room and started squeaking to her hearts dream!

If i had not witnessed it i would not have believed it!

What a clever girl i guess that confirms that dogs can see the computer screen just fine and that Labradoodles are super clever!!!

That is what i thought she had to have remembered where she last saw it! I have a new respect i always new dogs were intelligent but it shocked me the actually depth of process it required to do that.

That is impressive. They really are so smart. That took a pretty complex thought process first to recognize the toy and then to remember where it was outside.

I would not have been able to move over to Canada without Skype i can talk to and see my kids back home whenever we want and it is free too! And Roxy gets to see Rocco back home!
