[Anne & Mr. Haley]

I have been following with interest about taking your doodle to Lowe's/HomeDepot. Haley has mostly stayed at home when we are going to Lowe's because my DH didn't think he would be allowed inside the store. When he has gone I have to stay in the car with him. : ( A few weeks ago I was talking with a Lowe's employee and asked about dogs coming inside. She said people do it all the time (although, I have never seen a dog in the store when I have been there).
Yesterday there was a need for us to make a trip to town to go to Lowe's so we tested it out:

Boy, there sure is a lot of stuff in here!

Where did Dad go?

Maybe down there?

No, please don't get me any of this stuff!

Are we getting these?

Haley was beautifully behaved (I knew he would be). When people paid attention to him he did not jump on them but was all "wiggle butt" and "dancing feet". He got lots of complements and pets. It was a good trip and a new diversion for Haley. Now he won't have to stay at home when we go to Lowe's.

Wow! I had no idea you could do this. Do you know if it's every Lowe's? I will be doing some research for sure. Haley looks like he did a fabulous job - good boy! :)

Awww, this is a nice story Anne and your pictures are wonderful!  Mr. Haley looks very comfortable in the aisle's of Lowe's!   How nice for you and Mr. Haley.   Our Lowe's does NOT let us bring in our dogs:(
