Oakley's first haircut!

How did I do?! It was my first time grooming a dog! I actually love his hair like this! I used a 1/2 inch blade for his body and I trimmed his legs and his face and I kept a little scruff around his mouth (and I didn't touch his tail!)

I used Andis 2 speed clippers. I ordered them from Chewy.com. I also ordered some scissors from there, I don't remember the length. I bought a grooming table from hayneedle.com and extra straps for the table from Amazon. I got stuff from all over the place to get what I needed!

He looks beautiful! Now I'm thinking of buying some clippers for Ruby...I keep trying to read through the "how to" sections on this site but get bogged down.

What kind of clippers did you use? Where do you purchase them? What kind of scissors? Did you hold him? Have a helper?

He looks great! I too just groomed Mowgli on my won. He turned out great. I was terrified I would ruin him. You did a relly nice job!

Karina, I used the clippers on his body and the top of his legs and I scissored the rest.

He can see now!  Debating about cutting Baylor's. We've done a little around his eyes so he could see, now we need to take care of the rest.  We will miss his puppy hair. You did a great job, all clipper?

Wow, you did a great job. He looks adorable and sooooo soft!  It's quite a change from his former look!!
