Our new home...confused!

Hey doods...Lady Peri here.

So for the past few weeks boxes keep piling up inside our home.  Everywhere.  I have been confused and while mom is putting stuff in them, I gnaw on the corners and she tells me to stop.  I just want to know why she is obsessed with boxes now.  They don't taste very yummy.

Then this weekend the whole time mom and dad kept coming and going.  Saying "it's okay, we will be back".  Dood they took the xmas decorations somewhere!  Mom said "I don't want the movers touching the breakables".  What the dood does that mean?  Are they moving somewhere?

Then yesterday mom and dad come back from church and we got to put our collars on and they said they were taking us to our yard.  Dood, I thought they meant mimi and granddad's yard, but this was a new one! 

First we pulled in under this house and a big door opened up and we drove inside the house.  Then I got to run around something called a basement.  Then I went up the stairs and saw an empty house. But it had mom and dad's smell in it. i think that is where they were going this weekend.  I got the zoomies and ran around.  Taquito wouldn't leave the kitchen. He was scared.  Them mom put his bed down and he was okay. 

After a little while, mom said we could go outside.  She even let me off leash to smell the yard.  Boy was she silly.  I got a zoomie and ran up and down the hill, jumped onto the driveway, jumped back up into the yard.  Then she went insde and I followed.  Wow that was fun.

So what is this place?  Mom and dad said they bought us a yard but we can't move until it is "ready"??  Well I am ready NOW!  WTD?

PS How can I help my brother?  Taquito was upset and confused and threw up yesterday in the kitchen.  Mom said he was nervous about this new house.  I bet when mom brings all of our stuff there he will be okay.

Lady Peri, your mom has a great idea of what your needs are and how she takes care of them.  Buying you a new yard for your birthday, wow, that is a great gift!  Doing zoomies and smelling your yard will help break it in & will help your brother learn to love it too.  Set the example for him, he will come around.

Peri, you and Taquito are going to love your new home & yard! Tacky just needs some time to get used to it, change is hard for some of us who are a bit more "mature"! We can't wait to hear all about your new adventures!

Hi Peri- It was nice for mom and dad to give you a sneak preview to get you used to it. Maybe Taquito thought he was going to be left there! He'll get used to it. You both will have so much fun in your yard, we got a new fence last year so we can play outside and get all tired all the time. Hopefully you don't have too many days left to wait! Chloe & Myla
