Our playdate with CC
The "caring canine" goldendoodle from my elementary school (she belongs to the school counselor and spends her day at school) came to my house today to play with my doods--As I expected they were INSTANT FRIENDS!! I just realized that I didn't take any pics! I will next time! Lyric and CC are so much alike--they played the most with Mattie standing by trying to get into the act. She is smaller, so they kind of ignored her! Both Lyric and CC like to "own" the toys, but they didn't fight about it. They just kept having liuttle tugs of war and got along really well. I am happy that I have made this connection and hope for many more playdates.

Mattie's legs are too short to keep up with the other two,who are more like standard poodles--they fly around the backyard. Mattie stands in one place and watches them, giving them an encouraging bark now and then, as if to say "come this way!" Every once in a while, they do and she charges after them for a short distance, then quits. I need to find some shorter doodles for playdates!

The play date sounds like it was fun. Lilly is going this week for a 1st play date with a Boxer, I hope they like each other as well =)

This sounds like such a fun time. Mattie sounds a bit like my Springer - can't quite get into the action.
