Peri's Sweet Side is Coming Out!

I will spare you the details, but I had a bad bout with food poisoning Monday night/Tuesday morning. Peri girl never left my side. She followed me everywhere. She licked me all over every time I would get back in bed. She was so good yesterday while I stayed home from work - she would go run around and roam the house for a while and I didn't even worry about her getting into trouble (she didn't). My mom came over to walk both dogs and after that quick walk, she got in bed with me and didn't leave my side until Daddy came home.

Now Peri has always been sweet, but during the past month or so, she is calming slightly and becoming a very loving, loyal dog. I love her even more as we get close to her 1st Birthday on April 6.

I'm so sorry you were so sick! It just amazes me how they just know when you're not feeling well or you're upset. They truly have a sixth sense! Hope you're on the mend!

So sorry that you were under the weather. I too have suffered from food poisoning. It is no fun at all. Isn't it wonderful how our furkids seem to know when we are not feeling well? They become extra lovey-dovey.

Thanks for all of the sweet comments. I just had to post this because she has been such a sweet little lover lately. I haven't had the chance to cuddle with her until the past few weeks - it is like she is just becoming a lap dog!!!

I am so glad you are feeling better!! I have been there done that several times. More than once ending up in the hospital.
I feel like I am the fond aunt of Peri as I have watched her progress from infantcy. Allie is exactly the same way. When I am home she follows me EVERYWHERE. Upstairs, downstairs......she even wants to go into the bathroom with me BUT that is where I draw the line!
