Phoebe is sick!!!

I had to take Phoebe to the vet this morning as she threw up once and then was piddling all around. I thought it might be a UTI but the vet said she is too young for that. Her urine was tested and she has a very high white cell count and some bacteria. She is now on a 14 day course of antibiotics. Thankfully, she has a lot of energy and she seems fine otherwise. I am praying she pulls through this soon and we will be well on our way to being housebroken--I am assuming this had something to do with our delay. I was surprised that she started this piddling this morning yet seemed okay otherwise--sleeps through the night and eats well. The vet said it was great that I responded so quickly. My poor little girl.

Sorry to hear that Phoebe was sick - that is so scary when they are so young! Glad to hear she is recovering nicely. Good luck!

As always, Ann, thank you. It is a bladder infection and we are hoping it clears up quickly. Since housebreaking has been a little difficult so far, it is hard to tell where the line is drawn for the infection and our training her. She spent most of the day with me outside playing with the children. I have not had this much fun in the longest time. I told my husband we might be blessed with two doodles when all is said and done. They are so much fun!

Phoebe is doing much better even though she still has a slight 'piddle problem'. She has so much energy--I love when she does the 'puppy hop' when she is playing. The children ran her ragged today and she was such a love depite the puppy biting that we are srtill working on. We gave her her first bath and it was so much fun. She loved it! She has added so much joy to our household. It will only be a week tomorrow since she was delivered to us and yet I cannot imagine our lives without her. Thanks for all the well wishes.

As I was wandering through some posts I came across yours. I, too, have a Phoebe. She is a 4 month old cream labradoodle. From one Phoebe's mom to another, I hope she gets better super quick! Her pictures are adorable.
