Picky Picky!

Today was day one of introducing Chianti's new food to her. She has been on Purina Puppy Chow since she came home from the breeder and I know what a bad food it is, but was having trouble deciding what dry food to switch her too. Well, I decided to go with Nature's Valley after reading what the smarties in The Food Group had to say (it was between that and Fromms, but I had a hard time finding that in my area). I picked up my first bag this morning, and added a 1/4 of a cup to her lunch time meal. Well I come out of the shower and ALL over the floor surrounding her bowl is cracked pieces of the Purina, like she tasted them and spit them out looking for the Nature's Valley. There is not a single piece of the NV left...So much for introducing the new food slowly! Smart doodle knows I was feeding her crap.

that is so nice - and you are so lucky! Changing Abby's food got to be a major challenge - she didn't like the better quality stuff - she was a junk food junky!!! She eats Taste of the Wild and does well on that, but it was after trying 7 or 8 different kinds before I found one she wouldn't stick her nose up to. I still cook for her too and freeze it and add it, occasionally, to her dry.
