Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Another weekend arrived with lots of wet, sloppy rain.
I’m a mud puppy at heart, but my mom is not overly fond of this trait and decided to try and entertain me inside instead.
I played with lots of toys, but these are not as interesting as grass and sticks and the smells of the outdoors.
I put on my best hangdog poses, but she didn't seem to care.
Mom tried to divert my attention with grooming and treats. Grooming sucks but the treats she gives me for holding still are extra special. And so I was extra good.
She made me practice my sit-stays (hey mom, I already know how to do this, sheez).
We listened to mom's corny music. And we read our DK email, which cheered me up a bit.
Finally, when we were both grumpy, I made her go to the window and she saw that the rain was turning to a drizzle.
My mom got her boots and umbrella out and we braved the great outdoors together.
The deck where she let me play was wonderful, and the sun had begun peeking through the clouds—just for me!
I am one happy doodle.

Thanks Joanne, Nancy, and Lonnie. I am partial to this baby boy myself!
DJ, what a cute, cute story and Chance is sooooo adorable. The pictures are sooo sweet and I love the one where Chance is looking out the window. Thanks for sharing:)
Chance, you are not only a happy doodle, you are delightfully cute!
You are really truly cute! Really Cute!
Thanks Sandy, F., and Bonnie. Chance is clearly precocious but he needs to work on spelling.
This is just the most charming blog post. Thank you for sharing your rainy day with us, Chance! Your mom took wonderful photos of you on this gloomy day. Glad you got to hang out on the deck for awhile anyway.
Thanks, Amy. Chance got to play for serval hours outside on the deck while I watched through the sliding glass doors!
Camilla, Chance and I had fun writing this blog. He is a bit miffed at me for not getting a decent photo of his final escape to the great outdoors.
Donna, oh we wish we had snow rather than rain and mud. The brush is terrific! Both of us like it a lot.
Chance, I'm glad you finally got to play outside. Wish you had gotten snow instead of rain, snow is lots of fun to play in and you don't get dirty feet. I think those puppy dog eyes worked pretty well, I don't know how anyone could resist such a cutie. How do you like that new brush, does it do a good job?
Aw, such an adorable dood, love this blog!
