Random Men with Doodles

[Tante & Jordan & now Annie!]

I am at Petsmart,I see this guy with a LD.I go up to him and I say Oh you have a LD so do I.( I am a very friendly person and I will talk to anyone.) I just start asking him questions, how old,what's his name,where did you get him(which he could not answer, he only said some where in WA) I start telling him about Jordan, I show him a picture.Then I say are you on Doodlekisses? He says what? I explain DK to him now he is looking at me like I am some crazy woman. I am not joking!
Now, DH thinks the guy thought I was hitting on him.Clearly not the case in my mind,but I could see how this guy could think that.
Another time (earlier this year) at Petsmart again, I run into a guy with a LD. Very similar reactions. As soon as I mention DK I get this Oh your a Crazy Dog Person.
So, now I will not bring up DK to men I see with Doodles,unless I see a girlfriend or wife around.

DH also said "not all Doodle owners are friendly, honey"....I said "Well, I know of 4000 who are
and Do not think I am a crazy Dog Person."

Yep, my family thinks I am a bit crazed myself, as I am normally a shy person. But let me see a doodle and I am immediately talking to the person on the other end of the leash. I love the story.

Very funny story :-) Can you imagine the looks I get from my own sons when I talk about DK? Two have Pitt Bulls and the other a Doberman. They think, and tell people, that I am leaving their inheritance to Webber because I love him the most!! If they don't quit making comments about my doodle obsession, I might!!

LOL! Same thing happened to me at a dog playgroup two weeks ago. This gentleman had an LD and GD and of course, I asked him about the dogs. I didn't have Max with me because he was recovering from neutering but, I told him about Max...blah..blah...blah. Yep, I'm the Italian girl from New York now living in Seattle and yacking about my Max and other doodles. He thought I was nuts but, I bet he is lurking on doodlekisses!!! ;)

ROFL...it's just so hard to fathom how someone could NOT want to talk about doodles if THEY HAVE ONE!
I think only ONE person I've ever mentioned DK to in person has EVER joined ... I can't help but wonder...am I that scary in person??? LOL Seriously I've told numerous local folks about DK and even those who came to our recent romp but nobody joins... :-(
