Road Trips & Computer Virus = MIA

You know you've been off of DK for a while when you start getting emails from people asking "where are you", "are you and the doods O.K.".  It gives me comfort to know that some of you realized we had gone MIA - and might have notified the authorities so that I was not left here molding on the floor - lol.  I've missed SO much on here - all the funny blogs, posts, pics and videos.  I totally missed the whole Snap contest this time around - not that I'm funny but I always try to give it a go.  So if I missed your B-day, a class graduation, new puppy - sorry.  Trust me - not being able to get on DK is like wearing spanx under a party dress - very uncomfortable.  The doods and I had a wonderful road trip to Atlanta to help dd get moved but sadly her internet was not hooked up yet so I was stranded without my DK fix.  I find it difficult to use my phone to see the site so I was logging on at the local Starbucks which cost me $156.00.  I will admit I was trying to see the calendars but $156.00 is a pricey cup of joe you say.  Well the $156. was to rid my computer of a nasty virus that I am convinced came of me using the internet at Starbucks so yes - the coffee and internet connection was not cheap!  The virus didn't kick in till I was back home and trying to catch up here when WHAM - my computer went bonkers, then it tried to get me to "buy" the fix which is when they clean out your bank account.  Thank goodness I didn't fall for that and got my computer right in to the shop.  3 days later I have 234 emails - most from DK to sort through.  In the meantime Stuart graduated from his "Good Manners" Class and this coming Wednesday evening Rooney will take his CGC test.  I'm nervous but I have no doubt that Rooney will ace it - he is the only doodle in the class and is the dog that is always selected to show the others how things are to be done.  So here are a few pics of Rooney, Stuart and their cousin Cal having a blast in Atlanta.  One of the really neat things was that Rooney - the water hater - got so carried away with the big dogs swimming that he jumped right in and was swimming too, about 20 ft off shore before he realized what he had done - and then got back out.  Too bad I didn't catch it on film but I was laughing and so shocked that I didn't snap it.

Glad to see you back.  Good luck to Rooney, (glad to see him swimming now).  Well done to Stuart and of course one great Doodle Mom.  Sounds like a great road trip you all had.

I'm so thankful that both the boys travel well.  They sleep, look out the window and potty and the breaks.  Stinking cute - thats what they are!! LOL

Funny thing Jane.....I went to bed last night wondering where in the world is Jane, Rooney and Stuart?!!!  Last I heard you were helping DD.....I began to think..."my gosh I'm sure she hasn't picked up her revolver yet....and here she is on the road...."    well.....you know how the mind wanders!   LOL!       Welcome back!!!!!!

I was thinking too that you hadn't been on lately.  Sometimes I'm looking for updates, like the big conversation you were going to have with DH about moving!  

Rooney in the water....wow!  Maybe he'll get to liking your pool after all.  Oh and spanx under a party dress-HILARIOUS.  Unfortunately I can so relate to that!
