Rooney spent some time today at the specialty hospital and we still have no answer.  They are thinking he might have delayed gastric emptying, they have him on Reglan for that (helps with colon contractions), and also Sucralfate to coat his throat incase there is any irritation (esophagitis) from the vomiting.  His stomach lining is thickened but is that because he was vomiting or was he vomiting because it is thickened caused by some disease.  Can you see my frustration here . . . . .  could be this, could be that, yadda yadda - no anwers.  He is acting happy and playful, energy not quite normal but close.  We should have blood tests back on Monday.  I'm not going to stress about this but I do so want my boy healthy.  One thing that came to mind today - Rooney had an organic peanut butter filled frozen shin bone the day before he got sick.  He has had peanut butter before but I'm wondering could he have an allergy to it now.  I'm just racking my brain.  Thanks everyone for your support and kind words!!!!  Is it time for a glass of wine now?  LOL.

Hi Jane...haven't been active for the past couple days...hope my future puppy-in-law is feeling better.  Rua is now worried sick.  I told her Rooney is being taken care so she is feeling a bit better about things.  Give Rooney a big hug from me and kisses from Rua!  By the way, as future MIL's, we should do some nuptial planning, what do you say?

Aw, poor Rooney.  Wish I knew what to tell you - must be so frustrating.  Sounds like you may be on to something with the peanut butter??  Fingers crossed for you - feel better soon, Rooney!

Oh, little Rooney, we hope you are feeling better and that it's just something temporary!  We know how upsetting it is to see our little Doodles so sick.  Olivia stuck her nose in some animal droppings in our yard last spring and ended up with a parasite two days later.  She was so sick and what's so sad is that they cannot tell us how horrible they feel.  Hugs and kisses to Rooney from Sydney, Olivia, Gail and Kathleen:-)

Thanks for the update...I've been thinking of you and Rooney all day.  These "non-diagnoses" can make you crazy....I know.  Fingers and paws are still crossed that he's back to normal real soon.

I am so sorry to hear you have no answer as to what is going on with Rooney.  I know how frustrating it is to not know.  Wishing you and Rooney a quick resolution to this.

Sorry to see that the gorgeous Rooney is not well.  Patience is a Virtue and I wish you lots of it.  I'm hoping that this is nothing serious and that it will be sorted out swiftly.  Best Wishes to you both.

Thanks Camilla!  I'm usually kinda the panic type but for some reason - I'm just not going there.  I love Rooney to bits and will do all that I can to make sure that he is healthy!  I may need to learn patience as I do not think we are in for an easy answer.  Going for that wine now!
