Rosco gets the summer cut I said I'd never do again...

Before we go on vacation, I felt compelled to get rid of Rosco's nasty, stinky, never-can-quite-get-clean beard. But in order to do that...well...I had to trim the rest of him equally short =)

Except for the feet and slightly poor job on the ears, he's as done as my patience allows =)

It's not my favorite length, but he's sooo soft. But now that I look at the pics again...I might shorten up his snout a bit more too...

Oh Rosco... you poor boy. I was all in favor of your 1 1/2" cut... but this 3/4" cut is too much! We'll just dream about winter when you are all long and unkempt...

He looks great. Some of the doodles are very poodle like in build and when their fur is quite short, they look surprisingly skinny. But Rosco looks wonderful; he has a nice body shape. You did a super job.

Rosco is still a handsome dood and I'm sure feels better. I just got Lilly cut down to 1" and as much as I like her long haired doodle look I know she feels better with it short in the summer. You did a good job.
