Sad News About My Vet
I just found out tonight that my veterinarian has metastatic pancreatic cancer. She is a young, caring and wonderful vet. She has four kids under the age of 13. Full of life and enthusiasm, she exudes good cheer whenever you see her. She ran a marathon in November. I am so saddened by this news. I can't even begin to make sense of this.

F, I have been wondering about your vet and hoping for a miracle. I am so very sorry to hear she lost her battle with this dreadful disease. Wow, that was just so quick and hardly gave her or her family time to prepare. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and you.

I am so very, very sad to say that my wonderful vet died today just six weeks after her diagnosis with pancreatic cancer.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I know who your vet is and I heard about this through some friends of mine who take their dogs to the same vet. She has a wonderful reputation for being extremely caring and compassionate. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

F. you have told me several times how wonderful you thought she was. This is so sad and I don't even know her. You really can't make sense out of something like this. People often say. " well it is a better place she will go to now"
In my opinion there is no better place than to be with your small children. Knowing you had to leave them and so suddenly. What mother wants this? I'm really sorry for her and all who know and love her.
