Sad News About My Vet

I just found out tonight that my veterinarian has metastatic pancreatic cancer. She is a young, caring and wonderful vet. She has four kids under the age of 13. Full of life and enthusiasm, she exudes good cheer whenever you see her. She ran a marathon in  November. I am so saddened by this news. I can't even begin to make sense of this.

I am so sorry to hear this terrible news...There is no rhyme or reason for something like this happening.  Prayers for her family and children from us here in Florida....This is such a terrible diesase, it strikes and is so devasting so quickly...So sorry for all who know her and love her.  Maybe a miracle, they do happen, so sad...

I'm so sorry F to hear about your vet.  News like that about someone we've grown to trust and admire can leave one feeling very shaken.  Hoping for the best for her and her family.

Oh, dear.  My mother died of pancreatic cancer five years ago.  I don't think there's any making sense of that disease.  I am always particularly sorry to hear when this disease strikes, since it is so deadly.  I'll be thinking of her and her family.

There are some things that are just so hard to understand "why" they happen.  My prayers will be with her and their family.

Knowing all of you and that you know the relationship one develops with a vet has made your comments so meaningful to me. If good thoughts could help anyone surely she will get well but....
