Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Talk about a fab*dood*lous day…
AND…
Okay, okay, let me share. I’ve been waiting to go to this for months. When I found out (the same week) that DH (doodle husband) had a meeting and couldn’t join me. You’d been proud, I didn’t panic – I asked the two legged off springs to join me. Two doods, camera, tote bag with necessities (poop bags, water bottles, treats, keys, etc…) was a bit overwhelming for me to attempt alone. They were happy to oblige. So Saturday morning we were off…
The boys decided to celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day holiday weekend with neck scarves…
Of course we said yes when Leo asked if “Wilson” could come…
We met another doodle pup (7 months old!) as soon as we arrived. I love all the different doodle looks – don’t you?…
I never told the boys that one of their favorite paw-sons (Katy) from OTPR would be there. To say they were excited to see her is an understatement…
We met “Chilly” from HELPING HANDS, out of Richmond, VA. They are an affordable Veterinary Surgery and Dental Care facility bringing “high quality affordable surgery and dental care” to the community so no pet will have to go without the care that it needs.
Harley and Leo really didn’t know what to think about “Chilly” they finally decided to hang out – but from a distance…
I cannot begin to describe my excitement when I finally met Carol from ARCADIA ANTLERS.
You might remember them from a previous blog post BARK BOX IS BACK.
The boys received an antler through Bark Box and they couldn’t get enough of it! I broke down and ordered another one, and it has been keeping them busy for hours – for months!
Thanks Carol for being at the Super Pet Expo…
There were so many people, so many dogs, and so much to see! This is the perplexed look of “where did Mom go?”…
The word “adorable” doesn’t always pertain to a doodle (did I really say that?). This was the most precious little girl, who had a list of bon a fide questions to ask about the boys…
Another little girl asked her daddy if Leo was taller than she was? DS (doodle son) helped Leo answer her question…
We met two Shepherd girls (yup – I said “Shepard’s), and they were huge! Made Leo look small. Very gentle animals…
While taking a break Leo found a friend. We waited while they spent quality time together…
The Golden Retriever in the picture is a dear friend of the boys! It’s the California Natural dog food bag they love to see me bring into the house…
Several hours later, it was time to leave. We’d seen everything and then some…
When we got home, the boys had plenty of energy left, so they romped and ran. But after dinner? It was all over. Harley snored and looked paralyzed for the rest of the night…
WAIT – TWO MORE THINGS…
Not sure if the boys and I can make it “this year”, however, check out the video from last years romp. Sounds and looks like a doodle*lious kind of event!
