Saw the cutest thing!

I just returned from the dog park and I saw the cutest thing. A lady was there with her daycare kids having a little picnic. I know it's not the best place for kids but it isn't that busy on weekday mornings and they were having so much fun.

The kids were all girls, 2 or 3 years old, all wearing the same sun hat, sitting on the grass in a circle eating. The lady had 3 dogs with her, 2 shihtzu's and a labradoodle who were wandering around and playing and none of them were bothering the kids for their food. The dogs and kids were all so well behaved. All the little girls said Hi to Yankee and I. Yankee had to go check it out but the funny thing is, he didn't try to nab any of their food. He can be a pest for food but not in this situation. It was so cute and I loved that none of the kids were afraid of a big dog coming into their little circle.

It was just the cutest thing to see.

Moments like this are wonderful and very personal ; because many people you might tell just won't "get it" wheras I think everyone here "gets it".

Very cute indeed...but I would have completely freaked out. If I had brought R & T over...oh my! Rosco would have stolen all their food and run off with a tea cup. Thule would be busy cleaning any crumbs off their outfits and washing their faces until they ran away...THEN she would have stolen any last morsels.

Ya you wouldnt expect it to be so peaceful - lol. I am picturing running screaming toddlers with dogs jumping around - sandwhiches in mouths. lol
