Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Let me tell ya, I'm a Doodle who loves the simple pleasures in life. I have a mom & dad who dote on me each and every day. When I'm hungry I have food brought to me in a beautiful shiny dish and a lovely refreshing water bowl. Every morning as I awaken, I stretch out on my bed, roll over and at least mom or dad rubs my belly and tells me how beautiful I am.  I'm taken out for long wonderful walks along trails in the forest, go for rides with the window down, playing fetch with my favorite ball for hours on end and my favorite....a day at the doggie spa. Where I am pampered with a bath and grooming, coming home adorned with a couple of beautiful bows in my hair and smelling all girly. A girls life couldn't be much better than that.

I provide so much entertainment for mom & dad and sometimes they can't contain their laughter. This is my life and my stories of funny things I sometimes do, which can be on a daily basis at times.

   Sheeba Story:

It's been raining here alot. It happens so much at times I wonder if I'm ever going to see the sun again. The ground is soggy wet, which I really don't mind. I have a big beautiful home outside in my dog run with a cover in the front and grass in the back.

A couple of nights ago dad took me outside to my dog run so I could take care of my business before bedtime. After being outside for about 20 minutes, dad comes and brings me back inside. I'm walking around the house while mom & dad are watching this strange thing with tiny people inside of it. (Really, I have no idea what they get out of staring at this thing) I noticed mom looking at my tail, so I decided to sit down and try to get comfortable for the rest of the night.

What?! What's that?! I jump up off the floor and turn around quickly. Looking down at some strange thing laying right before my eyes. What is that thing? Maybe I should try to sniff it and see if I can tell what it is....yikes it moved! I jumped back even further while my nose is wiggling all the time. I took at mom and I can't beleive it...she's laughing! Laughing!

I look back at this strange thing and before I know it dad gets up. Oh...time to move out of the way, it looks like dad is going to take care of this scary business right now. Dad, no...no...no...I back up even further. Don't pick that up...I don't know what it is and it keeps moving!

Dad tells me it's okay comes over to me and places that strang thing right in front of my face. I gingerly inch forward to take a good sniff and it curls up. Well, it doesn't take a much more than that...it was time to get outta there and fast. Mom's lap looks like the perfect place to hide.

I hear mom & dad laughing and can't figure out why they would be laughing. I mean...that thing took a ride on me from my beauitful dog run into my house and created all kinds of havoc and it was s...c...a...r...y! I suppose when you're a Doodle some things just don't add up. Like me and my first encounter with an earthworm.

This is a great story, Sheeba.  Murph and Guinness love the worms.  They think they're special treats.  You're such a good girl for not trying to eat them.

He-he......Reminds me of a friend who took her 7 year old daughter to a restaurant for dinner.  The little girl became panicky because she suddenly realized she COULDN'T STOP BLINKING!  She created such a fuss they had to leave the restaurant.
