So excited for my Sweet Nightingale!
The pups are 9 weeks old now and 5 of the 7 have left--I am getting glowing reports of happy new owners and healthy and adjusted puppies--next week, Lucky, now Cooper comes back to me for 13 days while his parents travel--so I will be sure to have pics for everyone! Peaches, now called Pesca which is Italian for peach, will go to Italy in May to work with an program of autistic kids so she is here with me for a while yet--she is sooo tall! A standard poodle size for sure.
Then there is the pick of the litter--Sweet Nightingale--"Sweetie". I will co-own her with my breeder and if she passes her health tests, she will come back here in a few years to have her pups and carry on the Lyric line...She is so adorable and her name suits her--just couldn't make myself call her Tweety which was our original name. She is so pretty and well-behaved.
Today, a really nice woman with three kids, who lives just TEN minutes from me is coming to meet her---she is willing to be a guardian home--I am so happy that she might be so close and that we can all work together. Cross your fingers that this nice lady falls in love (who wouldn't, right?) and Sweetie has a new home! They have 20 acres, a pond and lots of woods--ideal for an active doodle. I need her to go soon--as I am getting WAY too attached to her.

A GREAT family with two little boys are coming Friday to meet Pesca--cross your doodle paws for me--this could be the one!!

Cooper is much better today about the humping but hates the leash--he just sits down and won't move--so I put Sweetie on a leash too (he is SWEET on her) and let her run around in front of him on the lawn on her leash (both on flexi-leads which is bit like puppeteering) --after a few minutes he was off and running with her and that was the end of the leash issue--for now...

Picture is not showing up Kim! The daughter changed her mind after her husband reminded her of how busy their life is and not sure now what the mom will do.She loved the puppy but has to convince her husband--like Mother, like daughter!
I have Cooper here now (Lucky) and he has really grown UP and wants to hump the two girls ALL the time! Unbelievable!! I am trying to convince him that this is unacceptable--geesh! Here are some pics of Pesca taken today-- (Peaches)

Yes, Kim, they ARE related!! HA! A mom and daughter are coming to meet the two girl pups tomorrow--hope they BOTH take one--they would love to have sisters and the daughter does not mind the GH responsibility....cross your fingers for me Kim!

I am sure too--in the meantime, they are really doing well with the house breaking--two at once is tough though so i still have some paper around for them--and Monday Lucky (now Cooper) comes back! for two weeks! Yikes!!
