Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Some of you may have seen to post from Sheri (Lucy & AnnaBelle's Mom) about her DK bucket list and a visit this weekend. Well today was the day.....and I was the lucky Doodle Kisses friend that she visited. I've known Sheri ever since I joined DK and have always admired her. She was such an inspiration as she went through so much with Sophie's illness and still always managed to help others. She has fostered for the DRC five times, and who will ever forget what she did for Honey and those poor Doodles who were living outside. She did this right after losing her precious Sophie and with a brand new puppy. I always admired the Therapy work that she did and that inspired me to do the same with Guinness. So to actually get to meet her today was really special. She's here in CT for the weekend with her friend (Amy) and spent some time with us this morning. It wasn't like we were meeting for the first time at all.....I think because we get to know each other here on DK it just feels like we're "old friends" (and I don't mean the "old" literally). Anyway it was so fun, and Amy was so sweet to put up with all of our "Doodle gushing". The boys loved meeting them and getting all that attention and Murph was just as sweet as can be (he's come a long way). I did get the camera out, but with all the excitement my photography "skills" went right out the window. Here are a few shots of Sheri, Amy and the Doodle boys. Notice the adorable "Irish" bandannas that G&M are wearing....gifts from Sheri and Amy. How cute are they! They will be perfect for St. Pat's Day.
The boys are not allowed on the furniture (a by-product of Murph's issues)...but today was a "special occasion".
With our son Tim....Murph wasn't letting Sheri get too far away.So it was a great morning and I'm so happy to have finally met Sheri....and so are the Irish Brothers. Murph did quite a wonderful job of "showering" the ladies with Doodle Kisses....trying to fill in for Lucy and AnnaBelle.

327 miles is nothing...you could easily do that in one day :)
Gotta give a little plug to Laurie's (Fudge & Vern) Niece who made the Bandannas. She does a wonderful job and she is quick. Go to FB, Made with Love NC.
Absolutely wonderful pictures and what a great visit. I love those Bandana's, they are exactly what I need here for the Irish, Irish boys :) ....terrific
Laurie, 327 miles, 5.5 hours! :o)
How fun for the both of you. I am envious because I would love to meet both of you.
Glad you got home safely, Sheri....I'm sure the girls were very happy to see Mom.
