Standard Poodle Needs a Home

Our county run animal shelter had a beautiful cream standard poodle surrendered to them this weekend.  I would hate to see this dog put down because she doesn't find a home.  She is four years old so it you be my guess already house broken.  When I stopped by to check to see if it was a doodle she seemed very friendly.

i did send her to the Poodle Rescue group nearby.

From what I could tell on the shelter's website, they are very low kill, and they are not overcrowded, so I doubt very much she would be put down. Did you send her info to Carolina Poodle Rescue?

We now have 5 dogs.  One showed up on our doorstep last summer.  We fully intended to find him a home, guess we did.  I wouldn't trade any of them.  We just can't afford to care for another one or the poodle would be here now.

Nancy what caught my eye from the highway was her hair cut.  She looked sooo much like my girl Cotton that I just had to find out about her.  A closer look told me she must be a poodle so I asked to folks that run the shelter and they confirmed.  She just doesn't have the traditional poodle cut which I personally think is endearing.  I wish I could have taken better pics of her.  I am going by there again today just to see if she is still there.

I hope she find a home or that the poodle rescue gets her.  The picture is small but her muzzle looks broader than a poodle to me.
