About Me:: I am a retired school teacher. I live with my husband, son, four dogs and one cat on 75 acres in rural South Carolina.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Cotton is our only doodle, she is the daughter of Kalie and Deacon from SC Labradoodles. She has an older "sister" ,Abby, a Boykin Spaniel. We recently adopted two Cocker Spaniels as playmates for Cotton. All Abby is interested in doing is fetching things from the pool. Cotton is a laugh a minute. She loves to run and run and play keep away from the two Cockers, Layla and Boscoe. Cotton also enjoys a little pool time. She is so tall that she can walk around the shallow end on her back legs. She is such a joy to have in our lives.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I choose a doodle for their sweet temperament and Cotton surely has lived up to that. I don't think I have ever been around a more personable dog. She loves everybody and every dog she meets. Cotton does not shed which I like. The Boykin sheds enough for four dogs.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Her sweetness and comic antics, but most of all the hugs.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Felicia at the SC School of Dog Grooming.

Favorite Doodle Products?: The Midwest crate. I am glad to see the list of products from other Doodle mommies and daddies.

Standard Poodle Needs a Home

Our county run animal shelter had a beautiful cream standard poodle surrendered to them this weekend. I would hate to see this dog put down because she doesn't find a home. She is four years old so it you be my guess already house broken. When I stopped by to check to see if it was a doodle she seemed very friendly.

I know this is not a doodle doing this but it is too cute not to share. Someone sent me a link to an entry on youtube.com of a dog romping in the snow.
