Sugar is a smart dog and a fast learner.  At 10 weeks she already rings the bell hung on the back door to go outside!  She sits, comes most of the time, and fetches so far.  She loves smoked pig ears too, they keep her busy!

John I remember that Tara always had a wild and crazy period in the evening right about the time we settled in to relax and watch TV!! It never failed! She still gets her second wind at that time but it is much more controlled now!

Yes, if you understand the concept of persistence and repetition then you should have continued success with her training!

Sometimes being too smart can be a a bad thing.  I hope Sugar still obeys at 6mo.

 Persistence and repetition will be the key for long lasting training.

 It's tough sometimes when she gets a bit wild and crazy right before she crashes but we cope.

Congrats on your new family member!! She sounds like a smart little girl! But I agree with Jennifer, Tara was a quick learner as a pup but at about 6 months old she seemed to go completely deaf!! Just a little heads up!  LOL!

Sugar is a cutie!  It is nice to have an easy pup.  My best puppy experience so far, I thinks it the "doodle breed".

Sounds like a great puppy! I remember at 10 weeks when Myla listened to me and was "the perfect dog" she seems to not hear you now or forgot what no means.
