As I continue what seems like the long wait until I get my Labradoodle puppy home I got to thinking about why I wanted one so much right now at this time in my life.  I posed a question the other day wondering if my age has anything to do with this need and lots of you have responded with some interesting thoughts on the subject.

It's no surprise to me that this wonderful community that I have joined is full of amazing women and a few good men.  It's no surprise to me at all that you are kind, intelligent and sensible.  That you care what happens to your beloved dogs and that you love them so much.  This community is a microcosm of life itself and reading your posts, comments and queries is insightful indeed.  I am so glad that I found you all.  We have a common bond.  We love Dogs and Doodles in particular but it doesn't end there.  We are supportive of each other and strive to be the best Doodle owners that we can be.  I am so glad I found you all, it feels like you are all in my living room and not thousands of miles away and it feels like this is a place where we can all relax and truly be ourselves.
