I just wanted to say thank you very much to everyone that sent me and my daughter their best wishes and sympathy as we deal with the loss of our Teddy.

This weekend was much better than last week. We were able to talk and share stories and laugh a lot this weekend about the goofy stuff he did. And there were even memories that I had forgotten!

We all decided that one of the best was when I was having some work done on the house the installers accidently let him out. It wasnt too long before I saw him come prancing up the street on his way home. He had come home with a brand new package of bologna. He was so proud of himself for bringing his own dinner home I dont think he quit smiling the rest of the evening! Never did figure out where he got it from. All we could do was laugh.

It was either that story or how we had to lock the bathroom door when you took a shower if you didnt want to have a hairy companion join you in the shower. His love of eating soap was also something we never quite understood.

I could go on for hours sharing these kind of quirky stories about him. Half expect him to come barreling through the house with a toy ready to play with as I write this.

We will keep in touch and check back on the Doodle friends we have met here from time to time. And we will definitly be looking for another Doodle to adopt when the time is right.
