The Car Can Take You Somewhere Fun

Poor Toby must firmly believe that contraption called a car is only capable of taking him to not so pleasant places like the vet and groomer . Well, today I decided to just take him to pick up his favorite boy, Tommy, from an after school club. Tommy was delighted with the surprise of his FAVORITE canine coming to get him as well. Of course Toby loved being around other kids. Both my boys were happy. Kids and dogs go so well together . Just so cute to watch.

Lori, I wondered if Gren got sick in the car, but he doesn't throw up.  Maybe his sense of balance gets upset.  Rides with him are no fun for any of us!   Fortunately, Trav is a great car dog.

They certainly do!   Sometimes I feel that way with Libby.  We do not take her with us very much (actually we don't go much either LOL) and it is the same, usually the vet or the groomer.  We take her to all our granddaughters soccer games and that is a BIG treat for her and she loves it and so do the girls!

Good for Toby!  Pat, We are lucky with Quincy-he is fine in the car.  Our lab was awful, so I feel your daughter's pain.  Do you think he gets car sick?

Good to show Toby that nice things can come from riding in the car!  This is not something my daughter's big dog has ever learned.  Loud, intense whining, almost howling, is his car noise.  It's pretty awful, and just doesn't stop!  Poor guy--he jumps right into a car because he's a good dog and doesn't want to get left behind, but being in a moving vehicle is just horrible for him.
