Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Rua here! The Vikings are playing the Green Bay Packers right now so the computer is free and I thought I would up you on what's happening in my life.
I really love water. Eating ice cubes, taking baths, drinking out of a water bottle or jumping in the shower with Momma. I can just walk into the shower, they forgot to put a door on it when they built it apparently. So, as soon as Momma goes into the shower, I give Papa the slip and join her. I asked Papa to take of picture of me and Momma in the shower but Momma yelled out a big "NO"! WTD!
I took my first really long walk this past week without having to be carried part way. Momma was REALLY proud of me. I am using my kitty sister Puff Dog's retractable leash (she never used it anyway) and I did really good on it. I met new people...in fact one lady in a car stopped to ask what kind of puppy I was...she thought I was SOOOOO CUTE!
I don't at all like the noisy thing my parents got to do my nails....even wrapping me in a towel and giving me a spoonful of peanut butter didn't work. I got to go to PetCo yesterday and I got my nails done. Momma thought it was well worth the $10.00. Papa told Momma he would do them himself, but she had to leave the house. Don't think I like the sound of that.
Besides PetCo yesterday, Momma and Papa took me to the car dealership to turn in her little BMW car (she got a new Honda CRV for me to ride around in). Let me tell you, I was THE most popular puppy. All the guys came up to me and started baby-talking to me. They all thought I was adorable and wanted to know what kind of dog I was and how big I would get. I had them all eating out of my hand.
After that, Papa wanted to go to a different car dealership to look into a new car for himself. We went for a test drive around the block. I sat on Momma's lap...it was my first time getting to ride in the car in the front seat. I could see everything. Everything was moving. My tummy didn't like that a bit. I puked up copious quantities of food and peanut butter into the brand new car we were test driving. Momma caught most of it in her hand. The salesman in the back seat took it pretty well. As soon as we got back to the dealership he went in and got paper towels so Momma could clean it up. He apologized for getting me sick. I think Papa should get a car from him, don't you?
Momma was really trying to get me to stay still so she can take yet ANOTHER picture of me. She wanted a fall picture (inspired by this past week's photo theme). Well, let's just say that the only way Momma could get me in a fall picture was a with some photo manipulation.
Someone in the photography group made a good suggestion to Momma...bribery! So, today, after she gave me LOT's of treats, I let her take these pictures of me.
Well, I think half-time is coming up. I better get off the computer!
Stay 'tooned for my further adventures! We start Puppy Pre-School next week.
