The Party Is Over!

I have to say, I feel quite odd about what I am going to wrtie. Yea! Vacation is over!?!? And we get to see Fozzy Bear and Boomer. Honestly, I don't know if DK made it easier or harder to be away from our dogs. But I kept thinking about how big Fozzy must be getting, and how I hate to leave Boomer at his age......we watched Marley and Me over vacation and it hit home....... Yea! I can't wait to see the boys!

We always take our dogs and spend our vacations in our RV. But this one time, visiting the relatives with a new baby, I just felt that it would be too much to take our three dogs and my mom's dog. I worried that we would just upset the household too much. We missed them so much that I don't think we will even consider leaving them behind again. P.S. - didn't miss the kids at all!

Yep! Next vacation is driving to Chicago to see my sister! With Fozzy in tow!

We also had to vacation without our dogs this past week. :( I sure missed them and made my kids (dogsitters) send me pictures via cellphone!

I don't think it's any different from taking a vacation with your spouse and leaving young kids home with grandma...as good as it is to get away, relax, and have time to yourselves, part of you is still back home with your babies, and you can't wait to get back & see them!

I understand! We drove to Florida so we could have Samantha with us. I have a family weekend in Atlantic City and cannot stay at the hotel where everyone else is since it is not dog friendly but gotta tell you, I don't care. The Doodles are part of our hearts and souls. I couldn't image how hard it must have been for you during the time you were away. Maybe next vacation will include the Doodles to make it easier on you!!!
