Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Just had to share what an intelligent labradoodle (but aren't they all?) and a patient, determined owner with the right energy can accomplish.
Our girl Lola II who will be eight weeks old tomorrow and has been with us just a week and a half has MASTERED all of the following:
Sit, nice (as in taking treats and not mouthing the kids) stay, lay, shake and is 95% housebroken. The only accidents she has is if I don't stick to our schedule for one reason or another...like when I'm busy with one of the kids or indisposed. lol
I just had to rant and rave because I am so proud of our little girl and of course, proud of myself. :o)

Congratulations!
Yeah LOLA II !!!! Now don't "forget" everything when you learn to pretend you don't know what's going on!
Believe it or not guys, Myla WAS the star of her puppy class at 10 weeks and walked right next to me looking up waiting for the next command. Now it's "sit" looks away "MYLA..." oh ok I see some treats over there.
Wow, Lola II is a genius. My little Finn just turned 8wks old yesterday and so far he only knows how to cry all night in his crate, lay down and not move when you attach a leash to his collar and chew on everything that crosses his path. :-) :-) :-)
Way to go, Lola!
Good girl Lola 2! Sounds like if you keep challenging her, the sky will be the limit!
Enjoy Lola.
so exciting. if you can bell train her when she wants to go outside it will be a God sent. Lilly just rings the bell to go out and since we travel alot, we just hang the bell on the door we want her to use.
Sounds like a little Doodle Genius!!
Well thank you! Are they not the most amazing dogs ever? Since losing our first girl I've forgotten until now. Of course I'm partial but their intelligence can not be matched by any other breed. But hey, maybe that's just MY opinion. We also have a middle aged lab/hound lady and though I love her with all of my heart, she's not the brightest bulb in the tanning bed. LOL Amazing at agility and "hunting" related activities but as far as training...forget it. Doodles take the cake!
