Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Today I brought home my first short-term foster baby for DRC. His name is Baxter and he is 16 weeks old. He is chalk in color, has a silky soft fleece coat, a black nose and he is a first generation Goldendoodle. I will only have him temporarily, as I am flying to California in a few weeks, but I wanted you all to start filling out your applications!! Right now he is in North Carolina, but he may be heading North soon. Now, here are the first shots of this adorable Dood. He is aprox. 40 lbs., calm in the house, well mannered and playful with other dogs.

Joanne, Don't you have some "secret" ways of persuading Roger to come around to your way of thinking? LOL
Jennifer, I'll meet you about 45 minutes just South of Cleveland Clinic. You won't even have to leave the highway :) Shhhh. "Look honey. Look what I found on the highway" and I will be telling the truth
I will be more then happy to transport this sweet little baby anywhere he needs to go.. We are driving from SC to Ohio on Thursday... Just let me know.....
Poor guy, in his third home, with a 4th one in his future, and he's only 4 months old. I hope everyone will think of Baxter the next time they enthusiastically encourage people with young children and/or allergies to get a doodle puppy.
If he has any issues I haven't seen them! He has just been the unfortunate pup to end up in a home with 4 small children and then they got overwhelmed and sold him to some very nice people whose daughter was allergic to the dog. He was only in the second home for a week. He is a great pup. Roger, this dog would be so easy..
Roger - I know you will read this and I vote for a 2 doodle home again! This guy seems not to have any issues and Spud needs a buddy. How do I know this I am sure you are thinking - he emails Samantha and Charli on a regular basis so we do know! This little boy needs a doodle home that knows the ropes of rescue. Who better then you and Joanne????
Baxter makes me want to add another dood to my family. He is adorable.
Oh, darn. He is such a good boy, and would be perfect for you Joanne. He's so calm and so normal. You would have twins.
Aw, he is precious!
I'm laughing too hard. So not fair. Just ten minutes ago I slipped the picture to him and he said how cute he was. But that was before he found out I planned and slipping him into the fence.
