This is the cutest Doodle ever, and he can be yours!

Today I brought home my first short-term foster baby for DRC.  His name is Baxter and he is 16 weeks old.  He is chalk in color, has a silky soft fleece coat, a black nose and he is a first generation Goldendoodle.  I will only have him temporarily, as I am flying to California in a few weeks, but I wanted you all to  start filling out your applications!!  Right now he is in North Carolina, but he may be heading North soon.  Now, here are the first shots of this adorable Dood.  He is aprox. 40 lbs., calm in the house, well mannered and playful with other dogs.

Kitty Kramer and Baxter are doing very well with Baxter even being tolerant of the kitty grooming him for a bit.  Kramer only grooms dogs he likes so this did not take long.

He likes country music on the radio when he goes into the crate  :-)  LOL    How is he doing with the kitty?  Does he chase it?

I will get some pictures up later today especially since I want to get some BB (Before Baxter) pictures of the yard:)  He is loving all of the different grasses to hide in and pounce out when an unsuspecting Jake goes by.  He slept pretty good last night.  We tried the crate in our bedroom but he whined quite a bit so he slept next to our bed and Jake decided to sleep under the bed.  He also surprised us with a visit on the bed later in the evening.  I can't believe he was even able to jump up:)  Surprised the kitty!

Colleen is back from her Nana's so I hope she will take some more pictures and post for all of us to see Baxter's progress.  Messages from her indicated he is doing very well.  What a good Doodle boy!
