This is the cutest Doodle ever, and he can be yours!

Today I brought home my first short-term foster baby for DRC.  His name is Baxter and he is 16 weeks old.  He is chalk in color, has a silky soft fleece coat, a black nose and he is a first generation Goldendoodle.  I will only have him temporarily, as I am flying to California in a few weeks, but I wanted you all to  start filling out your applications!!  Right now he is in North Carolina, but he may be heading North soon.  Now, here are the first shots of this adorable Dood.  He is aprox. 40 lbs., calm in the house, well mannered and playful with other dogs.

Requirement number one for Baxter's new parents:  Must be members of doodlekisses and keep us posted about him....

Do you have any Nana's to rent? The pictures are great and it's so nice to see the next chapter unfolding. You foster moms are terrific.

They look adorable together. I can't wait to see how this ends up for Baxter and thanks to so many wonderful people that helped him along the way!!

Linda, the pics that you and Colleen have posted show a very happy doodle-boy! That smile on his face is due to the love you showered on him this past week. Now Colleen gets to finish what you began! His future is oh so bright!! What a lucky lucky dood!

Jake and Baxter spent a pleasant evening on Nana's porch chewing on elk bones and barking at people, cars, squirrels, leaves, birds, more people...you get it:)  It was fun!  I think every doodle needs a Nana.

Ah, they are so cute together, and Baxter is still smiling! I hope Jake is feeling better soon!

Am I good looking or what?

On the Job training with Jake......

Well we are still at Nana's.  Jake is a bit under the weather due to a flea invasion from him getting into some wildlife earlier in the week:(....Advantix from now on instead of Front line.

Baxter is afraid of my mom's kitty and so am I as a matter of fact so we try and stay as far away as possible!

Baxter, better be nice to the kitty! A lot could be riding on that!

I am feeling the way I did years ago bringing home the new baby...exhausted but a happy exhaustion.  It doesn't help when you haven't slept well the night before but who sleeps when you are bringing new life into your world??:)  Baxter has his foster Nana smitten......there might be some competition in the works for you Jake!
