Veterinary Tech Interview

Hello All! 

I've enjoyed my time looking through photos and reading stories on Doodlekisses. My Fiancé and I plan on getting a Goldendoodle once we move into a home (can't wait for the extra space!). But until then, I have learned quite a bit about the breed and love hearing about everyone's dogs!

We've recently moved for my Fiance's job. I've been at a stand still in my job hunt- trying to figure out what I want to take on as a new career. Well, I think I may have found it! I'm interviewing tomorrow for a Vet Tech job here at privately owned Veterinary clinic. 

I've done my research and understand that the tasks maybe be difficult and emotional- but also far more rewarding than most careers could offer. Just wanted to check in with you all to see if you have any advice or know of anyone in this career? No experience is needed (neither is vet tech education), however they said they will 'train the right person.'

I'm very excited about this opportunity! I appreciate any advice anyone could offer :)

Welcome to DK.  As far as the interview... just be self confident and let them know you will be an asset to their practice by asking them what you can do for them.  And as they say in show business... break a leg.

I don't have any advice, but wanted to wish you good luck and to welcome you to Doodle Kisses!  It's great that you are hanging around while you wait to get a doodle - you can learn a lot about the breed and be prepared!
