Just wondering if anyone else has this with their doodle. On Saturday's and Sundays my DH and I have our coffee and read the newspaper, Wilson is fine for a few minutes but then comes over to get his ear scratch, (which he gets when he first wakes up too) then as he see 's us reading he grabs a pillow, then he goes and grabs the towel to wipe his paws off with, I then play with him for a few more minutes go back to reading the paper, he does the same thing again This time he goes into my DH's pockets to see if their is a kleenex he sticks his whole nose in their LOL LOL

After that He will check out my robe pockets But once I start breakfast he is fine. He leaves us alone This is his weekend routine We just laugh, and play along with him of course. then when we eat breakfast he goes outside and checks on the world in the backyard.

Wilson is just hysterical It is like I have started my day now you guys must start yours so we can play the rest of the day.

Does anyone else have a doodle that has a specific routine on the weekend??

We bring Max to work Monday thru Friday 8:30-5pm, but on Saturday's our shop is only open 10-2pm so he goes to Doggie Day Care. The problem is we leave later on Saturday, so by 8:30 he's usually vibrating to get out the door. Sunday usually between 8:15 and 9:15am (Depends how tired he is from Day Care) I get a claw across the top of my head!! Time to get up, go for a ride, get a coffee and run in the great outdoors! Needless to say my days of sleeping in have been changed to afternoon naps! :)

Around here, it's the opposite. After four years, Jackdoodle still sulks because he's not getting his a.m. walk as early as he does on weekdays.
But he does seem to know that when he does get his walk, it's going to be a longer one on the weekends. He automatically takes a different route than the one we take weekdays!

Timbow doesn't have a specific routine, but he knows that he will get more mommy/daddy time on the weekends. He seems to wake up more refreshed and ready to go. I am cracking up about Wilson checking for Kleenex's in your pockets. What a funny dood.
