Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I don't know why, but I rarely seem to have an uneventful day. They are usually not good things that happen either. I wonder if I bring these things on myself. You decide.

Yankee is my angel and has been since 8 weeks old. Finn is full of mischief. I thought Yankee would lead Finn to good behaviour. Of course not. I let the dogs out in the yard and came back awhile later and couldn't see them. I walked around to the side of the house and here comes Yankee covered in mud. It seems that both dogs went for a swim, then Finn dug a hole in my garden for them to play in. Bath time for two. Lots of fun.

Next day, my dog walking buddy says her car is in the shop & can I pick her up. Not a problem. While at the dog park, her white doodle Charlie rolled in poop. I have had my car for almost 2 months and it is white leather. Poopy dog in my new car. Fun!

I see Finn in the yard playing with something so I go see. it's a dead mouse left by neighbours cat. Pick up and dispose of rodent. More fun.

DH leaves gate in stairway open and leaves for work. I wake up to pile of poop in bedroom. I pick it up and deposit in toilet. Go to walk back to bedroom and see poop stains all the way back. Seems I dropped a piece, stepped in it with my slippers and left a trail. Carpet clean up. Fun!

I pick Cody up at 1pm at school every day. He is special needs and has 1 to 1 assistant. Go to get him one day, no show. Seems nobody bothered to bring him out and he is found sitting in cloakroom waiting. Another day, they forgot to tell him lunch was early and he came home without eating.

Today I was driving to get Cody in another part of town when something hits my passenger window. Seems that when my windshield was replaced, the moulding wasn't attached properly, it snapped and blew off.

I could go on but I think you get the gist of it. Why can't I have a nice normal day?

I hope this week gets better for you! Finn sounds like Peri....but Peri is starting to get less mischevious. Just remember Finn will get better and you won't even remember his nice poops!

:( Aww. You offered to help me in the most sacrificing way. Wish I could do something for you too. Know that you are so special. This too, shall pass.

You poor thing.. I think you have a dark cloud over your head. I don't think you bring any of this on yourself, you just have to think positive and hope for better days. :-)

Oh, my! Honey, you need forgetful hubby to take the reins one day while you go to the spa and get pampered! You take care of everyone else - time to take care of you! But hey, if I would have been driving your car this week when the windsheild poppedout, it probably would have been at the exact same time a goose flew over my car dropping a great bid turd on my head!
