What A Year!

This Saturday marks the one-year anniversary of the day that Yoda joined our family! Exactly a year ago we went to see two doodle brothers at the SPCA and were told that they both had a ton of applications and we would never get either one. Well who would have thought that putting in an application "just in case" would have been the best decision we could have made! He is the most loving, sweetest, funniest dog we could have ever asked for! This year has flown by and it seems like we have had him forever. He goes everywhere with me, and my friends and family now know that if I'm coming over, he's probably coming with me! I haven't figured out how to sneak an 80 pound doodle into the office yet, but I've definitely thought about it! We ask ourselves all the time how we ever got so lucky as to get him because if I could have checked a list of all of the qualities I wanted in a dog, he fits pretty much every one. Here's to many more happy years with my doodle-boy!

It is funny, we were just talking about the same thing. In October it will be one year since Cali came to live with us and our lives have not been the same. It has been all good, she has been such a wonderful addition to our family. I now can't imagine life without her meeting me at the door and greeting me after a long day....

So glad that Yoda is in his loving forever home and has everything a dog deserves. Isn't it amazing how God gives us (all animail/dog lovers) the most wonderful dogs that match our needs and personalities. Very glad you put that application in, hope the other doodle found a great forever home and is loved just as much as Yoda.....
