What Warms my Heart....

I don't know what is changing lately. Peri and Taquito have gotten along and loved each other almost as soon as Peri came home in June 2009. 

 

However, since we moved into the new house, they are bonding differently than usual.  They cuddle on the couches together!  They NEVER did this when we lived in the condo.  We come home from work - up the stairs from the garage (so they hear us coming with the garage door opening) and into the playroom/office where they stay during the day and there they are!  Just snuggling on the couch together. Some days they are on the big couch cushions. Some days, like yesterday, they are on the top of the back cushions so they can see out through the windows better. Last night they were cuddled up together and just looked at me like "oh, hey...you're home!".  I wanted to get a photo, but of course, they do end up stretching and getting up to greet me.

 

What's going on?  They cuddle all the time now.  Very sweet. 

 

Here is a photo of them in the den (not playroom where they stay when we are not home).  I was cooking and found them just chillin' out together.  So odd....I am happy they love each other, it really warms my heart!  I just never thought they would be so attached.

@Leigh: Thanks...they are so happy to have a big house to romp around in.  And they love all of the huge windows to watch wildlife!

I have no idea, but they are adorable together! Are they getting into the lemonade and vodka when you are not home?

I think Peri and Tacky were just waiting until they were in a real home (house).  They know this is theirs and so now the nesting begins!!!  ha ha
