Wheezy is doing great!!

Wheezy has been with us for two weeks now and is doing wonderful..........house training is going good too. Ellie is constantly by her side. We would be lost without her.

She is still on 2 pills a day.....and goes back to the vet tomorrow afternoon. She is a very independent doodle....I love her little personality.

She still has infection in her gums...it is really taking a while to heal and the vet said it wouldn't happen over night. She is feeling so much better....running...playing and wrestling.....she keeps us busy!!

She knows the words...."Good girl Treat".....and everytime she comes in from the little girls room....she knows mom or dad is going to give her a good girl treat from the cookie biscuit jar!!! She even knows the sound of the refrigerator door...

Wheezy sounds so vicious....LOL.....but she is a gentle, laid back little thing....she just plays loud!!

I updated my back window on my "dog mobile".....I also have Wheezy on one side back window and Ellie on the other....

What is great.....They sleep with dad all night....and then I get home from work about 2 hours after dad leaves......they go outside.....snack a little and then they are off to bed with me and they both sleep beside me until about 3:00......I love it!!

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments!!! The vet gave us one more week of the antibiotics and was pleased with her progress Monday......One side of her gums is almost completely healed and the other is not far from it. They seem to think the places on her gums were more like puncture wounds and possibly it could have been from another dog. She got another round of vaccines and will get a Rabies in 3 weeks....and after that....she can take a break and just be a doodle. :)

Your post is wonderful. Thanks for the update on how she is doing. Glad she is doing better. Poor puppy. Ellie looks like she is in heaven with her new sibling :)

I am so glad that Wheezy is doing better. I work in security and do just want to give you a heads up to be careful with the stickers on your vehicle. It's even worse when it is human kids names, but anyone watching you and your dogs now knows names to call so it puts your family a little more at risk..

From the videos it looks like Wheezy is doing great and having so much fun with Ellie. This is great news!
