I'm an avid dog lover, and I have had a Poodle, an Airedale Terrier, and two German Shepherds before my Golden Doodle. I have had one female German Shepherd, and all other dogs have been male.

I have a male Golden Doodle named Super Samson. He was born on July 11, 2014 in Memphis. His coat was black at birth and is growing in blue which was expected as his black Standard Poodle mother carries the blue gene. The Golden Retriever father is a very light crean color. He is from a smalll private breeder. I also have a Greater Sulfur Crested Cockatoo..

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

My wonderful German Shepherds shed constantly, and I wanted a breed that wouldn't shed very much, if at all. Any breed mixed with a Poodle will limit shedding, and of all the mixes, I think the Golden Doodle is superior in beauty, intelligence and temperament.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Going to the dog park, playing ball, and watching his antics which keep me laughing all the time.
