What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Finn is our five month old F1 Labradoodle. We got him about three weeks after we lost our 16 year old beloved Sam-I-Am whom we adopted from the Oregon Humane society when he was only 8 weeks old. We never thought we'd have another dog as great as he was, and always said we wouldn't get another dog for at least a year after he died. Well, we just couldn't take the silence in the house. Finn has been an absolute joy, and we have no regrets whatsoever. We know we're blessed to have another absolutely wonderful dog! We're so lucky! Also have three kitties, two of whom are not enjoying the new addition to the family...

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Have met several over the last couple years and really liked all of them. Their people all loved them as well. We were really looking for a rescue, adult, mixed breed when we came across this brreeder and their litter. Everything checked out and we got Finn!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: snuggle when he's sleepy, go to puppy school, and puppy play time, and watch him run!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: at this point, we just brush. Will take him to a groomer in the spring

He does it by appt so you don't have to leave him ALL DAY in a crate someplace and it was about the same price- a little more maybe ($65). He did a great job- like a serious hairdresser! :)

Yabby is now almost 7 weeks and comes home next week!
He will be a service dog for our son FINN :)

We too said we would not get another dog after our beloved Roxy, Ausie Mix of 14 years, passed away in September. Everyday the silence killed us. No tap tap on the floor. No having to step over her when getting out of bed. So... the same week I broke my ankle we ended up with Stanley. We love him, but had forgotten how much work a puppy is! Anyway- looking forward to meeting Finn and maybe other puppy sibs! And yes, Stanley is 55 pounds! Yikes! By looking at Dad, we have some more growing to do too! :)

I don't check in too often anymore, I have so many things going on right now. Brody slept forever! He was pretty wiped out all day, although this morning when we got home from church he was READY TO PLAY! LOL Finn is stinkin' cute... We're in Beaverton every now and then, and its really not that far of a drive for us...so we should definitely try to meet up again sometime.
