Hot Dogs All Dressed is having a spring sale.  https://www.hotdogsalldressed.com/products/collars

10% coupon

Just put in Grosscollar10 at the checkout and poof- stinky collar gone. Best magic trick of the spring.

The dog has come in for a kiss and you've gotten a whiff of that funky smell. Perfect time to do a little shopping for a new collar- express yourself- choose your color and decorations and be the hit of the park.

Can't wait to see them, Jessica.

I read Nacy, Ned and Clancy's post below about the hydro collars and I went ahead and ordered some for Loki. These are the best thing ever! Thank you so much for posting this, they literally glide over his fur and they look so great being that they are so bright! I will try and figure out how to post a picture here, I'm on my iPad right now and I don't think you can that way.

Hmmmm.... I just had to re-join this group to leave a comment.  I wanted to post that I have switched from the rolled leather collars to hydro (water) collars for my dogs.  There is NO matting and they can be quite attractive when you add the bling.  Here is where I got mine.  Hot Dogs All Dressed Up

I have used mine for 7 months when Ned's suddenly broke at one of the holes.  I e-mailed the owner because I wondered if they weren't supposed to be everyday collars.  She said they are everyday collars and is replacing Ned's at no charge.  Of the three dogs the only collar that shows in photos is the non-doodle so you get to see his.  Finally Ned and Clancy can have stylish everyday collars.

Casey has a brown collar with blue feathers. We got them from 3DD at a nearby craft fair. You can get them at 3ddcollars.com. It's really good quality.

I am sorry if this has already been discussed.  I want to make Rua some really cute collars and matching leashes!  I bought her a Celtic collar and leash from www.hotdogcollars.com but I paid almost $29 w/shipping.  In looking around, I can buy webbing, D-rings, tri-glides, contoured side-release buckles, and the snap barrel hook for the leash for under $3.00 per!  Adding the ribbon is the most costly part (the one below is patterned webbing verses a plain webbing and adding ribbon to it).

Has anyone tackled this before?  For under $10.00 each (plus my "free labor"), it looks like I can buy all of the materials, including ribbon, to make a matching lease and collar.  I am also going to post this in DIY group (didn't see anything there on this).

I just found a collar company called Biscuits and Gravy today and I LOVE my collar I got for Indy. The owner said the online inventory was a little limited, but they are great! I like how wide they are so they really show up even with all the curls on my boy.

I wanted to update here because I listed the cozycritter site below as a source for collars. I finally picked the ones I wanted and placed my order and promptly returned them. Did not live up to my expectations. The have some really cute fabrics, but the fabric isn't very heavy duty. I also ordered the breakaways and the wouldn't have last 10 mins on my girls. They broke away too easy. Very cheasy clip.
