About Me:: Nurse (RN/BSN with biology degree, also), mother to 1 daughter, 3 sons, grandmother to 2 granddaughters with a 3rd grandchild on the way!. Married 34 years to my best friend ( a family physician). Active in PCA church, community volunteer.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: English Doodle.. cream colored.. F1B....Beacon. Smart and sweet! He was the light at the end of the tunnel for me after a very rough year when I lost my dog, my mother, and soon after getting Beacon, also lost my father.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We'd had 2 Yorkies, a Sweet Lab and a Silky terrier over the past 34 years and had lost 3 dogs within 2 years. We wanted a nonshedding, sweet tempered dog who would be good with grandchildren and be a potential therapy dog.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Cuddle, play, walk, training classes.

Fenway, my husband and I live in Columbia, SC. Right next door to you. Fenway is also training to become a therapy dog. We train with Murray Craft in West Columbia. It's really exciting to find another doodle in the area! Maybe there will be a playdate in our doodles future...

Is Lexington similar to the Montreat, NC area? The kids from our church go to conferences there and I have been several times with them.
