About Me:: I inherited my Doodle shortly after my previous dog died tragically and I was hardly ready to take on someone new. I was beginning to enjoy my freedom, after having been a single mom for 21 years. But in hindsight, Buddy was a God-send who helped me heal. And today, to no one's surprise, he is my best friend.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: My Doodle's name is Buddy. He is 8 yo and 40 pounds and still very playful. He loves to run, roll and lay there and play dead. He knows he's entertaining us. What a clown. Just a little guy too. Apricot in color and a first generation, so his hair is wavy instead of curly. He doesn't shed, which is nice, although there was no guarantee because he is F1. We keep it cut short, about every 6 weeks.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I didn't; he chose me! A friend of a friend had him and wanted to find a home for him. He was too wild for her and wasn't "fitting into her program!" He was four months old and full of energy. It was love at first sight, although it did take some time for us to get on an even keel. Now he can read my mind.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Rollerblading, snuggling, drinking micro-brew
