Sheri, this video is adorable and Honey looks like she is doing really great.  They are both just soooo cute.  I hope everything turns out well for Honey, she deserves a good life!  Thanks for doing all you do:)  Annabelle looks just so huggable and I'm sure you do a lot of that with her too!

Julie -- Honey hasn't actually had her surgery yet.  The Vet in Indy didn't feel after examining her that the surgery they were planning would be very beneficial to her.  So she suggested we see a vet that did a different type of surgery.  I took her on Tuesday to see a local vet here in Cincinnati and he did feel like she would benefit from the surgery and that it would make her good as new.  However, she can't have the surgery until she is at least a year old because they have to be sure that the bones in her knees are completely hardened.  So, we are regrouping to see where to go from here.  In the mean time she is doing really well.  I give her her pain meds when I can tell that she is hurting, but I try not to give them to her any more often then really necessary because I don't want her to feel so great that she ends up hurting her knees further.

Can Honey really play this well after surgery? What's the recovery time? Cute sisters!

She has learned all about the big dogs now.  This was one of her first few days here.  Her favorite thing is Lucy's tail!  Lucy isn't too fond of that though.  AnnaBelle just gives them what she has and then turns around and runs.  When they chase her she ducks under something they can't get under.
