So this is what goes on in my kitchen while I'm trying to cook supper. (The cat is a full and happy participant (instigator) in these activities.)

I really think this is hysterical!
I love this. If BB had his way he would have a "pet cat". Though I don't know he would be as gentle as Lachlan and Declan... ;-] So sweet!
Glad it gave you a smile, Ann! (And yep, sometimes it CAN get ohwouldyouguysjustleaveoffforfiveminutes annoying, but I certainly don't need a television.)
I hear ya, Sandy. Hattie sounds a lot like Declan. "Yayyy, the cat!" *flying leap, kitty-road-kill* I have high-spots and baby gates (like the one you can see behind them) all over the house so that Pixel always has an easy escape route when things get too rough.
I know that this can get annoying at times but it was funny to watch! It's a good thing that they all get along.
Thanks for sharing, it made me smile!
Laurie, I can put him on the next plane! ;-) I'm a tad annoyed with him today because he spent half the night throwing his chirpy-ball down the basement stairs (and by throwing, I mean it was going down hard enough to hit the wall at the bottom ... chirpchirpchirpchirp thump!)
Too cute. I need to borrow your cat to teach Vern and Fudge a thing or two :)
Thanks, guys! I love it too - but the downside is that it can be pretty nerve-wracking! I have to supervise them constantly because the cat really does love playing so much that he doesn't have enough sense to get out of the way if the boyz start to get too rough. You can see it in his eyes, "Right, who's next? C'mon, I'll have ya!" If you listen closely about mid-way through this video you can hear me verbally easing Lach back because two-on-one is too much when the one is outweighed so much.
Lachlan's incredibly gentle but Dec's just learning how to play with someone so much smaller than he is. Last weekend he was so excited to see Pixel on that same table that he took a flying leap and landed right on top of him. Poor kitty was splatted and much screaming ensued (from me and the cat) while Declan stood there with this "OMD WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" look on his face.
That is a riot--wonderful to see them all playing together--two of my cats hate dogs and run, which of course, means my dogs CHASE! But one doesn't mind them and is just starting to get used to them and play--he is a stray that has adopted us and is outside, so they are slowly getting acquainted. This is too cute!!
