Same - only real sirens.  I've tried to get her to do it for an audio recording (including an audio recording of the same siren she already howled to), but she just looks at me like I'm a complete idiot.

One of Sadie's best friends howls when he hears sirens, but only real sirens--when she's played audio versions he doesn't do it. Does Lola know the difference, or could you get her to howl by playing a recording of a siren?

Joanna, I didn't either.  Lola's middle name is Serif, after my late beagle Serendipity (whom we called "Serin").  I wonder if maybe Serin is talking to us through Lola.

Oh I looooove a howl! We had a Golden that howled at sirens and then would get embarrassed like he couldn't figure out how he could have made such a noise. Neither of our doodles do it. :(
