Ominous since we all know what devastation lies ahead.
I do love a storm but this one was just plain scary from the start to finish. I am glad we have heard from most of our friends, I realize a few still have not checked in, I hope they are all well.

Ricki, seriously? Our trees leaves were done a week ago at least.

Happily many had lost most of their leaves just before the storm . You really don't want leaves with those winds. The branches that cam down came from trees with leaves here. But so many trees down around this area and on my street.

Sandy certainly made her presence known! I'm surprised at how bare your trees are, the leaves on ours have just started to change color.
