Oh I do love a roll in the sand myself!, I'm pining for the ocean just watching this and hearing the waves crashing.

Off to Spain next week for a girly holiday and this is putting me right in the mood.  

Rua clearly loves it but I wonder if she ever gets sand in her eyes and how you clean her after all that. I'd say it's a full bath?

You would be surprised that when she dries off, she has hardly any sand left on her. 

Yes, I think Rua is thinking it is just wierd snow, since would would do the same thing in the snow.  She now has two boy cousins she is palling around with so she is learning to be a tomboy, but don't you worry...she still knows how to dress up.  I just bought some really cute batik pink and yellow fabric yesterday and have been designing her bikini in my head.  Oh ish...dead fish?

I clearly am going to have to take Rua to every beach in the area.  It makes a great conversation started as people are watching her burrow and role in the sand.

We are loving being California girls and wish you all could come out and visit!
