This is a short video showing how Sophie would go straight to where she heard the ball hit the ground and sniff for the ball. In this video I gave her a little help to find the ball.

She seems so happy, even without sight. I can't wait to see her playing ball once she's recovered from her surgery. I'm so glad she's found her forever home with you!

Sophie is lucky to have you! Congratulations on the new addition to your "forever family." I'm so proud of you for taking Sophie in and of all the generous folks who helped Sophie get what probably amounts to life-saving surgery. She looks like a happy, loving doodle. Miracles do happen! We're so glad to have you in the DK family!Enjoy and have a wonderful holiday season!

Well, first of all welcome to DK! But secondly, I am sooooo happy you are a foster failure....and that you have decided to adopt Sophie. I think many of us became so attached to her that we couldn't imagine letting her just go to someone. So thank you for adopting her and now we can continue as her extended family!

She is so beautiful. The spunk of her is wonderful even with the little sight. She will be so happy to be able to see that ball. It warms my heart to see her.
