Oh doodles! Our Captain does pretty much the same thing every night before bed & then again first thing in the morning. Big, fluffy, goofy doods!

This is just another"doodley thing" I guess! Just one more endearing and fun behavior. I've never had a dog do this except maybe after a bath. But what is not to love about these furry kids?! Poor rug, poor carpet, poor sofa though!

Oliver does the same thing on the caqrpet in my office!!!...They could be triplets instead of twins...He does this after eating, and when he want to rub his ears and body for that special reason that he alone knows....Maybe it is a doodle thing????....My aussie never did this, and he just looks at Oliver like he is nuts, lol.....

Quincy does a similar version after he eats, sadly he thinks the couch makes a great napkin. If I can get to him an wipe his face first he doesn't do it.

So funny...my guys do the same thing after every meal. That's how they clean themselves.
